Important Note CVE-2026-31431
- CVE-2026-31431 ("Copy Fail") is a Linux kernel local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting the algif_aead module (AF_ALG). It allows an unprivileged local user to escalate to root access using a 732-byte Python exploit.
- CyberEdge does not use the algif_aead module (AF_ALG), and the module is not loaded in its kernel. Therefore, CVE-2026-31431 does not impact the CyberEdge platform.
